Tuesday Sees Six Games
There were a total of six games played today. The closest contest was Brighton over Thomas 5-4. Waterloo defeated Wayne 17-9, Mynderse defeated Marcus Whitman 6-3, Pal-Mac defeated Gananda 15-2, Spencerport defeated Brockport 17-8 and Penn Yan defeated Geneva 20-5.
Wayne hosted their fifth annual “Cradle for a Cure” event today. The "Cradle for a Cure” event began five years ago as a fundraising/awareness event after a local lacrosse player received a cancer diagnosis. Every year since, Wayne has hosted a multigame event with boys and girls lax with the hope of donating to both local charities and a local family in need of assistance.

Spencerport scored the first seven goals in their 17-8 win over Brockport. The Rangers were led in scoring by Emily Coykendall (4g-4a). Erin Coykenall added 5g-2a. Erin also recorded 8 draw controls. Pal-Mac led 11-0 at the half in their 15-2 win over Gananda. The Red Raiders had 12 girls make their offensive scorebook. Emma Arnold (2g-3a) and Aldyn Savage (3g-2a) each recorded 5 points. Abby Halsey led in draw controls with 4. Additional stats are HERE.
Mynderse took an early 5-2 lead at the half before both teams added a single goal in the second half. Emily Thompson finished with 2g for the Wildcats. Sadie Bonnetti, Sadie Mapstone and Sarah Shaffer each recorded 2 points for the Blue Devils. Additional stats are HERE.
Brighton continued their undefeated season with their closest game of the season. The Barons defeated Thomas 5-4. Katie Lederman led in scoring with 2g-1a. Rene Gangarosa recorded 3 draw controls. Additional stats are HERE.
