Three Close Games Including a Double Overtime

Starting off the fourth week, there were three close games today.  Gananda defeated East Rochester 6-5 in double overtime.  Geneva defeated Mynderse 10-8 and Wayne defeated Gates-Chili 10-7.  In more one-sided contests, Penn Yan defeated Midlakes 16-6 and Waterloo defeated Newark 14-3.

After a scoreless first half, Waterloo scored 14 goals in the second half.  Senior attackman Alberta Eshenour led her team with 4g-2a.  Midfielder Keira O`Connor finished with 1g and 5 draw-controls for the Indians.  For Newark, Katie Thoms (2g-1a) was a part of all three goals.  The complete stat report is HERE.

Wayne outscored Gates-Chili 6-3 in the first half and held the lead to the final.  Hannah Zenelovic (3g-2a) led in scoring for the Eagles.  The complete stat report is HERE.

Penn Yan led 10-1 at halftime on their way to the 16-6 win.  Jamie DeBoover and Jordan Naeye scored 2g each for the Screaming Eagles.  The complete stat report for Midlakes is HERE.
