Monday - One Close Game

Two games were postponed earlier in the day, but that left ten games on the schedule and with the exception of Penn Yan-9 vs Mercy-12, the closest game was by eight goals.

GREECE STORM 16 - GATES CHILI 2 -  Greece Storm defeated Gates Chili, 16-2.  For the Storm, Mara Misiurewicz had seven goals.  Alison Dioguardi filled up the stat sheet with four goals, four assists, five draw controls, three ground balls, and three caused turnovers.  Natalie Torrence also had a fine all-around game, picking up two draw controls, four ground balls, and four caused turnovers in addition to a goal and an assist.  The Storm travels to Victor for a game Wednesday against the Blue Devils.  There were no statistics reported from Gates Chili at post time.     [BOXSCORE]

RUSH-HENRIETTA 16 - HF-L 6  -  Rush-Henrietta raced to a 10-2 lead at halftime and never looked back in a 16-6 victory over Honeoye Falls-Lima.  The Royal Comets’ scoring attack was led by Lena Cox (5g), Avery Roberts (3g/2a), and Ally Garrett (2g/2a).  Rush-Henrietta is now 9-0 and faces Fairport on Wednesday.  There were no statistics reported from Honeoye Falls-Lima at post time.   [BOXSCORE]

IRONDEQUOIT 3 - VICTOR  14 - Victor’s balanced scoring attack, led by Madison Mabbett (4g), Olivia Bruno (3g), and Devin Livingston (3g/2a), helped the Blue Devils turn away Irondequoit, 14-3.  Also scoring for Victor were Eva Pronti, Libby Boland, Caitlin Keenan, and Amber DeRosa.  Kennedy Schottland recorded eight saves.  Victor is 7-1. PENN YAN 9  - MERCY 12  - Mercy built a five-goal lead at halftime and held on to defeat Penn Yan by a score of 12 to 9.  Krista Harnischleger (5g), Ava LaRocco (3g/2a), and Mia Lusardi (3g) spearheaded the attack for the Monarchs.  Olivia Morey (9s) anchored Mercy’s defense.  The Monarchs, who notched their sixth victory of the season, visit Aquinas on Thursday.  There were no statistics reported from Penn Yan at post time.   [BOXSCORE]

MYNDERSE-ROMULUS  14  - WAYNE 6  - Mynderse-Romulus improved to 4-2 with a 14-6 win over Wayne.  Leading the scoring for Mynderse-Romulus were Chelsea Korzeniewski (4g/1a) and Kelly Kohberger (2g/4a).  Bridget Mapstone had a strong game between the pipes, recording eight saves.  The Blue Devils travel to Penn Yan for a game on Wednesday.  For Wayne, Payton Walton and Riley Simpson each had two goals.  The Eagles host Geneva on Wednesday.      [BOXSCORE]

EASTRIDGE  20  - BISHOP KEARNEY 5  -  Eastridge dominated Bishop Kearney putting 20 points on the scoreboard in a 15 point victory.  Skye Gaudio scored 5 goals while collecting 5 draw controls, causing 3 turnovers and picking up 3 ground balls in a versatile performance, while Nicole Hetzer (3g-3a) and Emma Knaak (4g-2a) led all scorers with 6 total points a piece.  Freshman Ada Krupa also made her mark on the game with 10 draw controls, 4 goals, 1 assist and 2 caused turnovers.        [BOXSCORE]

PITTSFORD  16  - SPENCERPORT 5  -  Pittsford handed Spencerport their seventh loss of the season on Monday by winning the Monroe County League game 16-5.  The Panthers jumped out to a decisive 11-3 first half lead, and cruised through a wet second half for the victory.  No book was submitted for Pittsford at time of post.  Molly Guzik and Alyssa Nichols each scored 2 goals for Spencerport, and Kayla Baca caused 3 turnovers in the game.     [BOXSCORE]

LIVONIA-AVON  1  - PAL-MAC 12  -  Pal-Mac traveled to Livonia and nearly shut out Livonia-Avon 12-1, improving their record to 4-2 on the season.  Kylie Waeghe led the charge scoring 5 goals, while Sophomore Reagan Diehl, and Freshman Jenna Santelli helped Pal-Mac control possession by scooping up a combined 11 ground balls, and causing four turnovers collectively, while each scoring 3 points a piece as well.  No book was submitted for Livonia at time of post.     [BOXSCORE]

WATERLOO  16  - NEWARK-MIDLAKES 2  -  In another Monday mismatch, Waterloo toppled Newark-Midlakes 16-2 to improve their record to 3-3, while dropping the Reds to 4-2.  Esabella Bourne (4g-2a) and Natalie Disanto (5g-1a) paced the Indians offensively with 6 point efforts.  Stella Del Papa and Kate Mahoney each scored a goal for Newark-Midlakes In a losing effort.     [BOXSCORE]

MARCUS WHITMAN  3  - GENEVA 16  -  Geneva handily defeated Marcus Whitman in a Finger Lakes match-up by a score of 16-3.  No book was submitted for either team at time of post.     [BOXSCORE]

HILTON  vs  BROCKPORT  and CHURCHVILLE-CHILI  at FAIRPORT  were  postponed
