Saturday - Pittsford Over Baldwinsville

Pittsford had a 5-3 victory over Baldwinsville (Section III), Livonia-Avon took out Eastridge 8-5 and Thomas lost a close one against Liverpool.

LIVERPOOL 14 - THOMAS 13 - In the first of five non-league match ups today, Thomas fell to Liverpool (Section 3), 14-13.  For the Titans, Kolbi Spencer picked up 11 ground balls to go with two goals and three assists, Maddie Quinlan and Mya Zeller each had three goals, and Addison Schaeffer and Alexa Strelick had two goals apiece.  Thomas resumes league play Wednesday against Penfield.    [BOXSCORE]

SCHROEDER 16 - LANCASTER 10 - Schroeder took on Lancaster (Section 6) and won handily, 16-10.  Leading the scoring for the Warriors (4-5) were Makenna Baier (3g/2a), Anna Rogers (4g/2a), Ava Dossier (3g/1a), and Stephanie Sellitto (3g).  Stephanie Sellitto also recorded seven draw controls, four ground balls, and three caused turnovers.  Lucy Starzyk had eight saves.  Schroeder looks to reach .500 when it visits Churchville-Chili Monday.    [BOXSCORE]

RUSH-HENRIETTA 17 - MERCY 8 - Rush-Henrietta handed Mercy only its third loss of the season, defeating the Monarchs, 17-8.  The Royal Comets, who remain unbeaten, had big games from Ally Garrett, who tallied seven goals and two assists, and Avery Roberts, who recorded nine draw controls.  Lena Cox (3g), Danielle Garrett (2g/3a), and Kate DeWald (2g/3a) were also major offensive contributors.  Angelia Oechsle had six saves.  Rush-Henrietta takes on class A rival Pittsford in Wednesday’s featured contest.  For the Monarchs, Madeleine Fitzgerald and Mia Lusardi each had two goals and an assist.  Mercy travels to Fairport for a Monday match up against the Red Raiders.     [BOXSCORE]

WATERLOO 15 - BISHOP KEARNEY 6 - Waterloo (5-3) successfully defended its home field in a solid 15-6 win over winless Bishop Kearney.  Dana Jolly led the defensive effort for Waterloo, with seven saves on 13 shots, while Marissa Russell (3g), Maci Mueller (3g/2a), and Esabella Bourne (5g/2a) spearheaded the attack.   Waterloo hosts Geneva Monday afternoon.  Bishop Kearney has a showdown Monday with Aquinas. EDEN 5 - PAL-MAC 15 - Pal-Mac (6-3) traveled to Eden (Section 6) and came away with a 15-5 win.  Kylie Waeghe (6g/1a) and Molly Seither (1g/4a) led the offensive onslaught for Pal-Mac.  The Red Raiders dominated the center circle, winning 14 of 22 draw controls.  Pal-Mac hosts Mynderse-Romulus on Monday.      [BOXSCORE]

VICTOR 12 - WEST GENESEE 6 -  Victor (9-1) continued its stretch of dominating play with a convincing 12-6 win over West Genesee (Section 3).  Kennedy Schottland had a standout game for the Blue Devils, saving 12 of 18 shots.  Eva Pronti (4g/3a), Devin Livingston (3g/3a), and Olivia Bruno (3g/1a) accounted for the bulk of the scoring.  Devin Livingston also had eight draw controls.  Victor meets undefeated Canandaigua in a marquee Monday match up.   [BOXSCORE]

LIVONIA-AVON 8 - EASTRIDGE 5 - Livonia-Avon rallied from a 4-3 halftime deficit to defeat visiting Eastridge, 8-5.  It was the Bulldogs’ second straight victory.  Mia Martucio had an outstanding game in goal for Livonia-Avon, recording 14 saves on 19 shots.  Kylie Buckley (3g) and Anna Cinquino (2g) led the scoring for the Bulldogs, who face Marcus Whitman on Monday.  The Lancers host Honeoye Falls-Lima on Wednesday.  There were no statistics reported from Eastridge at post time.    [BOXSCORE]

BALDWINSVILLE 4 - PITTSFORD 6 - Pittsford also continued its recent run of strong play, defeating previously unbeaten Baldwinsville (Section 3) by a score of 6 to 4.  The Panthers have won six of their last seven games, with their only loss coming at Canandaigua.  Pittsford meets Honeoye Falls-Lima on Monday.  There were no statistics reported from Pittsford at post time.    [BOXSCORE]
