Saturday - Irondequoit Wins Big Game

There were five games played on Saturday. Irondequoit won an 11-10 victory over CNS (Section III).

WATERLOO 17 - JORDAN-ELBRIDGE 4 - Waterloo (8-4) built a 13-1 halftime lead on its way to a 17-4 non-league victory over Jordan-Elbridge (section 3).  Natalie DiSanto (4g/4a), Esabella Bourne (3g/3a), Marissa Russell (4g/1a), and Maci Mueller (4g/1a) accounted for the bulk of Waterloo’s scoring.  Waterloo plays host to Gananda-Marion on Monday.    [BOXSCORE]

AQUINAS 1 - FAIRPORT 17 - Fairport (7-5) handed Aquinas its second loss of the season, defeating the Little Irish by a score of 17 to 1.  Seven players lit the scoring lamp for the Red Raiders, including Lily Kondas (4g/1a), Ava Peers (3g), and Ellie Miller (3g).  Jaelyne Twomey had four saves.  Fairport hosts Gates Chili on Monday.  Sienna Hinchcliffe scored for Aquinas, which looks to get back on the winning track when it visits Eastridge on Monday.    [BOXSCORE]

GREECE STORM 1 - PITTSFORD 19 - Pittsford defeated Greece Storm, 19-1.  The Panthers improve to 11-3.  Erica Savage was a bright spot for Greece, scoring the lone goal in addition to picking up six draw controls and a ground ball.  Pittsford faces class A rival Fairport on Wednesday.  Greece Storm looks to break a five-game losing streak when it hosts Schroeder on Monday.  There were no statistics reported from Pittsford at post time.    [BOXSCORE]

CNS 10 - IRONDEQUOIT 11 - Irondequoit came up big in a non-league match up at Cicero-North Syracuse (section 3), returning home with an 11-10 win.  Irondequoit hosts Spencerport in a class B battle on Monday.  There were no statistics reported from Irondequoit at post time.     [BOXSCORE]

HF-L 9 - MERCY 14 - Mercy picked up its tenth win of the season with a 14-9 decision over Honeoye Falls-Lima.  Ava LaRocco and Olivia Luchetti each had four goals for the Monarchs, while Madeleine Fitzgerald, Krista Harnischleger, and Mia Lusardi contributed two goals apiece.  Olivia Morey had eight saves.  The Monarchs host Pal-Mac on Thursday.  The Cougars, who drop to 6-6, play Brockport on Tuesday.  There were no statistics reported from Honeoye Falls-Lima at post time.    [BOXSCORE]
