Tuesday: Canandaigua of Skaneateles

DAY IN REVIEW: TUESDAY - The Canandaigua Braves welcomed Skaneateles to Braves Field for the lone game on Tuesday night.  On a frigid evening, the Braves squeaked by Skaneateles in a barnburner of contest, which saw Junior Midfielder Makenna Cross not only collect 7 Draw controls, but score 2 goals, including the game winner on an 8-meter shot at the buzzer.  Canandaigua had their most balanced offensive performance of the season with Crouse, Nola Weaver, Hanna Davis, Liv Schorr and Leah Sheridan each scoring 2 goals.  Canandaigua led 5-2 at halftime, but Skaneateles controlled most of the second half, evening the score and even taking the lead at one point.  The Braves, however responded late with several key plays by Crouse, Schorr and Davis to secure the victory.  Canandaigua will play their third straight contest tomorrow at HF-L.    [ BOX SCORE
