Wednesday: Fairport Over CA In Close One

DAY IN REVIEW: WEDNESDAY - Fairport (14-2) defeated Canandaigua (12-4) in a good game at Fairport and Thomas (9-7) had a one goal win over Spencerport (8-7). Pittsford extended their win streak to eight with their defeat of HFL and Penn Yan won their game with Pal-Mac.

Pal-Mac at Penn YanCANANDAIGUA-6 at FAIRPORT-9 - Fairport closed out their season with an impressive 9-6 win over Canandaigua tonight.  Fairport used a balanced scoring attack led by Katie Mallaber (2g-1a) and Camryn DuBose (1g-2a), while Jaelyne Twomey kept the Braves out of the net with 6 saves.  Canandaigua goalie, Margaret Cross also performed admirably with a 7-save night, while Makenna Crouse (2g) and Leah Sheridan (1g-1a) were the only multi-point scorers for the Braves.    [ BOX SCORE

THOMAS-9 at SPENCERPORT-8 - Thomas hung on to a razor thin win over Spencerport tonight, overcoming a 5-goal, 1 assist evening by Molly Guzik for the Rangers to end their regular season on a victory.  Thomas completes their season at 9-7, while Spencerport finished up 8-7.  No Book was submitted for Thomas.    [ BOX SCORE

PITTSFORD-9 at HONEOYE FALLS-LIMA-6 - Pittsford completed their regular season with an 11-5 record thanks to a 9-6 victory over host HFL tonight.  For HFL, Paige Kidd (3g) scored a hat trick, while Goaltender Lily Brady made 7 saves for the Cougars.  No book was submitted for Pittsford at time of post.    [ BOX SCORE

PAL-MAC-5 at PENN YAN-8 - Penn Yan defeated Pal-Mac in Penn Yan tonight by a score of 8-5.  PY jumped out to a 5-0 lead at halftime, and Pal-Mac battled back in the second half, however the Mustangs were able to hold off their rally to secure the victory.  Reagan Diehl was the lone multi-point scorer for Pal-Mac.  No book was submitted for Penn Yan at time of post.    [ BOX SCORE

Pal-Mac at Penn YanGENEVA-14 at NEWARK-MIDLAKES-4 - Geneva and Newark completed their regular season tonight at Newark, as Geneva came away with a 14-4 victory.  No Book was submitted for either team at time of post.    [ BOX SCORE

MYNDERSE-ROMULUS-17 at GANANDA-MARION-3 - Mynderse-Romulus defeated Gananda-Marion in Gananda 17-3.  Mynderse saw an array of points from many players tonight in their 17 point eruption with 6-point nights from Chelsea Korzeniewski (3g-3a) and Myah Herron (4g-2a).    [ BOX SCORE

MERCY-9 at BRIGHTON-14 - Brighton beat Mercy tonight 14-9.  Both teams are now 0.500 with Brighton’s record at 8-8, while Mercy is 7-7.  No book was submitted for either team at time of post.  Mercy will come out their season against Schroeder tomorrow.    [ BOX SCORE

BROCKPORT-2 at GREECE STORM-14 - Greece Strom soundly defeated Brockport 14-2 this evening behind matching 6-point performances from Mara Misiurewicz (4g-2a) and Alison Dioguardi (4g-2a).    [ BOX SCORE
