Annie Brennan scored her second goal of the night to give Irondequoit the 5-4 win over Penfield in first sudden victory overtime period.  This is the second overtime loss of the season for the Patriots.

Penfield led for the majority of the game before the Eagles scored the last three goals of the contest.  The Patriots started off the scoring with the first goal seven minutes into the contest.  They held the lead for 12 minutes before the Eagles scored their opening goal with an unassisted goal from Maddie Green with 6:16 remaining.  The Patriots kept up the pressure in the first half with two more goals to take a 3-1 lead at halftime.

The second half belonged to the Eagles, they won the half 3-1 to force overtime.  Kiersten Pease scored the first of her two goals to keep the game within a single goal.  The Patriots final goal was scored with 13:39 remaining in regulation.  Brennan and Pease each added a goal to force the tie game.  The Patriots had the last chance at the cage and junior goalie Lydia Fregosi came up with a big save as time expired to send the game into overtime.
