In their first meeting, Aquinas-WOIS edged Frontier (section VI) in a tightly contested non-league matchup, emerging with a 14-13 win. The game, held at Frontier, saw Aquinas-WOIS take an early lead with four goals in the first quarter, and extend it to a 10-2 advantage by halftime. Frontier mounted a spirited comeback in the second half, scoring seven goals in the third quarter and four more in the fourth, but fell just short.

Savannah Hinchcliffe led Aquinas-WOIS with eight goals and an assist; she also collected 11 draw controls giving her 307 career wins. Brynn Henry contributed two goals and three assists. Haley Bennett added two goals, and Lily Bell celebrated her first varsity goal. Angelina Masci made five saves.

With the win, Aquinas-WOIS improved to 3-0 on the season, and will face Lancaster next on Monday.
