Waterloo Holds Off Geneva

Waterloo gained a hard-fought 11-10 win over Geneva in a Finger Lakes matchup on Monday evening. Waterloo rallied a 6-3 halftime deficit to tie the game at 7 after three quarters, and then after going down by three goals again in the fourth quarter, scored the last four goals of the game to earn the win. It was the Tigers' thirteenth consecutive victory against the Panthers dating back to 2015.

Maci Mueller led Waterloo (8-5) with six goals and two assists and reached her 400th career point milestone, while Bailey Rossignol added three goals and an assist. Peyton Lyons made nine saves.

For Geneva (9-2), Allison Marquart had five goals, and Meghan Forbes added three goals and an assist. Velia DeMaria and Makenna Harris each scored once. Geneva's goalkeeper, Maddie Askin, recorded six saves in the contest.

Next up for the Tigers is a Wednesday matchup against Newark-Midlakes. The Panthers travel to Churchville-Chili on Thursday to take on the Saints.    [ Story and BOX SCORE
