Brockport defeated Gates Chili 9-6 in a Monroe County game on Monday evening. The Blue Devils fought back from an early deficit to take the lead at halftime, and held on over the final two periods to secure the win.

Molly McJury led Brockport (5-10) with five goals and one assist. Kendall Akers added two goals. and Adysen Birge and Giavanna Saeva chipped in one goal apiece. Brockport’s goalie, Jessica Maher, finished the game with six saves on six goals allowed, posting a 50% save rate in 48 minutes of play. Gates Chili (1-10) did not submit a game report.

The Blue Devils will host Eastridge/BK on Thursday. The Spartans will look to bounce back when they face Gananda-Marion on Saturday.    [ Story and BOX SCORE]
