Almost All Close Match-ups

In a day of mostly close match-ups, the most one-sided contest was only a 5 goal differential: Mercy defeated Geneva 12-7. In closer contests; Wayne defeated Greece Ath/Ody 13-12, Churchville-Chili defeated Penn Yan 11-9, Waterloo defeated Aquinas 8-6, Marcus Whitman defeated Gananda 7-5 and Midlakes defeated East Rochester 10-7.

Wayne's Mary Panepento scored in overtime to lift the Screaming Eagles.  The full story is HERE.

Mercy scored seven out of eight straight goals to end the first and start the second half.  The Monarchs were led in scoring by Izzy Stockman with 5g-2a.  The Panthers were led by Alicia Reuscher (2g-3a) and Ali Turner (2g-1a).  Additional stats are HERE.

Marcus Whitman had three players make their offensive scorebook with Emily Thompson (4g-1a), Ellie Nemitz (3g) and Danni Bagley (1a) scoring for the Wildcats.  Gananda had four players make their book with Melissa Camp (2g-1a) and Allison Stark (1g-2a) leading.  Additional stats are HERE.

Midlakes' Jordan Naeye (3g-1a) and Sydney Jones (3a) led for the Screaming Eagles.  Three different girls scored 2g each for the Bombers (Allison Burns, Maddilyn Mulcahy and Madilynn Walsh.  Additional stats are HERE
