he Rochester Chapter of US Lacrosse has announced the 2018 Herb Fitch Lacrosse All Star Game player selections. This year`s contest, featuring some of the best of the graduating seniors will be held on Thursday, June 14th at Victor High School. The boys`game will start at 8:00 PM after the girls` play at 6:00 PM and the youth clinic which starts at 4:30.

ection Five finished 0-3 in the State Finals with all three programs finishing as runner-up.  Cold Spring Harbor defeated HFL 18-3, CBA defeated Penfield 10-5 and Manhasset defeated Brighton 6-4.  This is the fifth time that the Cougars have finished as runner-up, the sixth time that the Barons have finished as runner-up and the second time the Patriots have finished as runner-up.

Updated 05/29/2018 The Tournament has been completed and we have our Champions.  In Class A, Penfield defeated RH.  In Class B, Brighton defeated Spencerport in overtime.  In Class C, HFL defended their Title and defeated Geneva.  In Class D, Pal-Mac defending their Title and defeated Penn Yan.  In addition to securing the Girl's Section Five Championship, the Penfield Patriots Boy's program also won the Class A Title.

onore Couny end of season awards come in with 50 First and 48 Second Team All County Players.  In addition, there were 4 All Americans and 4 Academic All Americans.  As well as three divisional Players of the Year.

# 213  Muir Leads Cougars in Win
aitlin Muir was a strong offensive presence for HFL in their 17-10 win over previously undefeated Spencerport.  The Rangers and the Cougars had not played eachother in 10 years.  The Cougars won their last three contests in 2006 (2) and 2007.
