Midfielder Quinn Melidona and attackman Marina Butler were both key figures in Irondequoit's 10-8 win over Rush-Henrietta. In the battle of the Webster High Schools, Thomas defeated Schreoder 11-9. The game was a story of two halves with Schroeder winning the first half 7-4 and Thomas winning the second half 7-2. The Titans led for the 16 minutes before Schroeder scored four unanswered goals to take a 7-4 lead at the end of the first half. Coming out of halftime, Thomas scored two quick back to back goals from Emily Glagolev and Abby Quinlan. Spencerport came back from a 5-3 deficit at halftime to defeat Churchville-Chili 9-6. This is the first time that Spencerport has defeated Churchville-Chili since 2009. The Rangers scored four unanswered goals to start the quarter and held the Saints offense to only a single goal in the second half. Freshman midfielder Erin Coykendall was demonstrative in the contest; she finished the game with 3g-4a. She was a part of the first 7 goals for the Rangers with the final two goals coming once the Saints had sent their goalie to double the ball. Coykendall also finished with a team leading six draw controls, which were instrumental in maintaining possession in the second half.
