2024 Rochester Chapter Senior Games

The Rochester Chapter of USA Lacrosse recently announced the 14th Annual Herb Fitch and Chris Barnes Lacrosse All Star Game player selections. This year's contest, featuring some of the best of the graduating seniors will be held on Thursday, June 15th at Victor High School. The girls play at 6:00 PM  and the boys' game will start at 8:00 PM.

DAY IN REVIEW: Saturday, June 8 - Section V had two teams in the NYS Championships and one came home with the title. CNS (Section III) defeated Fairport 12-8 and Victor beat West Genesee 16-8.

DAY IN REVIEW: Wednesday, May 29 - Second seeded Victor won their third Section V championship in a row with a strong second and third quarter performance. Mercy came from behind, scoring five goals in the second half, to defeat HFL 10-9.

DAY IN REVIEW: Tuesday, May 28 - Penn Yan won a close game with Pal-Mac to win their tenth Sectional Title and Fairport won their third and second in a row with the victory over Pittsford.

DAY IN REVIEW: THURSDAY - Semifinals games in Classes B and C were completed today with the top seeds in Class B both winning 7-6 and the top seeds in Class C teams winning by large margins. Results: WAYNE-3 at MERCY-18; EASTRIDGE/BK-8 at HONEOYE FALLS-LIMA-20; BRIGHTON-6 at VICTOR-7; SPENCERPORT-6 at CANANDAIGUA-7.

DAY IN REVIEW: WEDNESDAY - The seeding was broken in Class A as #4 Pittsford stunned #1 Penfield with a 7-5 win. In the other bracket, #3 Fairport beat #2 Rush-Henrietta, 11-9, so Fairport will play Pittsford for the Class A championship. DAY IN REVIEW: THURSDAY - There were six games played on the last day of the regular season. Penn Yan won a close one with Honeoye Falls-Lima. DAY IN REVIEW: WEDNESDAY - There were 10 games played today and three were won by just one goal.  HFL goalie Lily Brady reached her 400th career save, helping the Cougars to a 9-8 win over Thomas. Penfield extended its winning streak to six wins with a 8-7 win at Irondequoit. Hilton surprised Aquinas in a 12-11 win. CA Ends Undefeated Season in One Goal Loss

DAY IN REVIEW: SATURDAY - Canandaigua (13-1) ended their undefeated season at the hands of South Jefferson (Section III) in a one-goal game that ended 8-7. Pal-Mac Head Coach E.J. Burse won his 200th game when the Red Raiders defeated East Aurora, 18-4.
