All Greater Rochester 2017

The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle announced their 2017 All-Greater Rochester Lacrosse team on Friday. The list features the top sixteen players and a number of honorable mentions were led by HFL senior Caitlin Muir who was named Player of the Year. Finger Lakes End of Season Awards 2017

Class A State Title - Pittsford over Middle Country

Pittsford and HFL both advanced to play in the State Finals.  The Panthers defeated Middle Country 10-9 in double overtime to secure their first State Title.  The Cougars fell to Mt. Finals Match-ups

The Sectional Finals will be played over the next two days. Class B and Class D will play first on Tuesday May 30th at Pittsford Sutherland. With Canandaigua vs. Thomas starting at 5:00 and Pal-Mac vs, Penn Yan starting at 7:00.  Class C and Class A will play second on Wednesday May 31st at Webster Schroeder.  With Mercy vs. HFL starting at 5:00 and Pittsford vs. Penfield starting at 7:00. Championship Scheduled Changed for Pal-Mac

-There has been quite a write-in campaign today asking for a time change in the Championship schedule so that fans and families supporting the Pal-Mac boys and girl`s teams could see both games. Although the boys and girls committees worked hard to avoid conflicts, it turns out that the Boys (in Class C) and the girls (in Class D) were scheduled for the same time. Full Story

Wayne Wins First Sectional Game in Program History

Geneva Scores 10 Straight in Win

Geneva scored 10 unanswered goals in their 14-6 win over Eastridge.  This was the first time since before 2005 that the Panthers and Lancers have faced.  Audra Burrall had a great game between the pipes and recorded 9 saves for Geneva.  Offensively, Lauren DeVaney finished with 5g-2a to lead the Pantherseneva scored 10 unanswered goals in their 14-6 win over Eastridge.  This was the first time since before 2005 that the Panthers and Lancers have faced.  Audra Burrall had a great game between the pipes and recorded 9 saves for Geneva.  Offensively, Lauren DeVaney finished with 5g-2a to lead the Panthers. Brighton Pulls Away in Second Half

Smith Leads Canandigua to Victory

There are seven Out Bracket Games in Section Five this season.
