DAY IN REVIEW: SATURDAY - The Royal Comets continued their unbeaten season with their 12-7 win at Thomas. Other local winners were Aquinas and Churchville-Chili.

THOMAS-7 at RUSH-HENRIETTA-12 -  The Royal Comets continued their unbeaten season, led by a balanced scoring attack featuring Avery Roberts (4g/2a), Catrina Rowe (2g/1a), and Danielle Garrett (2g), and stellar goaltending from Angelia Oeschle (8s).  There were no statistics reported from Thomas (3-6) at post time.  Both teams resume play on Monday, with Rush-Henrietta (9-0) visiting Mercy and Thomas hosting Victor.    [ BOX SCORE] 

NIAGRA WHEATFIELD-17 at NEWARK-MIDLAKES-6 -  The Reds came up short against their section VI opponents, despite a four-goal effort from Stella Del Papa and seven saves from Melea Kuzmenko.  Newark-Midlakes (4-4) travels to Wayne Monday to take on the Eagles.    [ BOX SCORE] 

CHURCHVILLE-CHILI-13 at LIVONIA-AVON-5 - The Saints improved to 3-5 behind a five-goal performance by Shavonne Callahan and 14 saves from Mikayla Mellenthine.  Rory Turk chipped in three goals.  There were no statistics reported from Livonia-Avon (3-6) at post time.  On Monday, Churchville-Chili visits Schroeder and the Bulldogs travel to Eastridge to face the Lancers.     [ BOX SCORE] 

SACRED HEART ACAD-3 at AQUINAS-18 -  Sienna Hinchcliffe recorded four goals and an assist for the Little Irish, plus eight draw controls and six caused turnovers.  Gianna Leonardi contributed three goals, including her 100th career goal, as well as.three assists.  Aquinas (8-2), which has had only two games this season decided by fewer than five goals, hosts Waterloo-Marcus Whitman on Monday.     [ BOX SCORE] 

BRIGHTON-7 at CNS-8 -  For the Northstars from CNS (III), it was their fourth victory of the season against section V competition, with all four wins being by one goal.  There were no statistics reported from Brighton (3-6) at post time.
