DAY IN REVIEW: TUESDAY - On an action-packed Tuesday, six games took center stage. Irondequoit edged Canandaigua in a close 9-7 battle, with standout performances from Irondequoit's Lucy Whipple and Canandaigua's Samantha Lupton. In other tight matchups, Pittsford defeated Fairport 10-7, and Aquinas-WOIS, led by Brynn Henry's exceptional all-around play, triumphed in a high-scoring 18-15 non-league thriller against Livonia-Avon-Geneseo. In other action, Penfield, Brighton, and Churchville-Chili each claimed decisive wins, rounding out an eventful day of competition. 

PENFIELD-14 at RUSH-HENRIETTA-9 -  Penfield defeated Rush-Henrietta 14-9 in a Monroe County game on Tuesday. Peyton Rothfuss led the Patriots with four goals, one assist, and eight draw controls. Kate DeWald had three goals for Rush-Henrietta in the loss.    [ Story and BOX SCORE] 

CANANDAIGUA-7 at IRONDEQUOIT-9 - Irondequoit defeated Canandaigua 9-7. Irondequoit's Lucy Whipple and Canandaigua's Samantha Lupton each scored three goals. Emma Francis made five saves for Irondequoit, while Aviana Nelson had 10 saves for Canandaigua.    [ Story and BOX SCORE] 

BRIGHTON-14 at THOMAS-5 -  Brighton defeated Thomas 14-5 in a Monroe County game on Tuesday. Ireland Mistretta led the Bruins with three goals and four assists. Brighton's goalie, Lauren Russell, made six saves. Carly Fitch scored three goals for Thomas.     [ Story and BOX SCORE] 

CHURCHVILLE-CHILI-13 at BROCKPORT-1 - Churchville-Chili defeated Brockport 13-1 in a Monroe County game. Saints goalie Mikayla Mellenthine made eight saves, including the 600th of her varsity career. The win was Churchville-Chili's seventh straight against Brockport.    [ Story and BOX SCORE]
