DAY IN REVIEW: SATURDAY - Four games were played today, with Penfield (class A) and Victor (class B) both securing dominant wins to advance to the NYS semifinals. Peyton Rothfuss and Jenna Capozzi had six points each to fuel the Patriots' charge to their first semifinal appearance since 2018, while Maia Pronti orchestrated a masterclass in playmaking with seven assists to lead the Blue Devils. In class C, Honeoye Falls-Lima battled fiercely but fell just short in a 14-12 thriller against Jamesville-DeWitt. South Jefferson cruised past Penn Yan 17-7 in a class D matchup behind a seven-goal performance from Lydia Tremont.
