ince the conclusion of the season, we have worked to collect all the Post Season Awards to release at a single time.  As we approach a week out from the State Finals, we have determined that we cannot wait any longer.  Tonight, we posted all the information that we have received and will update the missing data when it is provided.  We have received some requests to update individual personal pages and apologize to those waiting to see their records updated.

# 456  Two Overtime Matches

There were two overtime matchups tonight with Eastridge defeating Livonia 10-9 and Thomas defeating HFL 12-11.  GLaxFive had a reporter at the Eastridge vs. Livonia game and submitted a full report with photography.  Remaining scores included Pittsford over Spencerport 11-10, Canandaigua over Pal-Mac 16-8, Greece over Gates-Chili 16-0, Penn Yan over Geneva 15-5, Marcus Whitman over Newark-Midlakes 9-5, RH over Brighton 9-3, CC over Wayne 24-4, Fairport over Brockport 16-1, Penfield over Schroeder 16-8 and Irondequoit over Hilton 10-8.

# 419  Monday Night Matchups
even games were scheduled to be played during a cold start to April.  Spencerport fought back with the last two goals in their 7-6 win over Penfield in the closest matchup of the night.  Gananda defeated Livonia 9-6 and Mynderse-Romulus defeated Churchville-Chili 11-9.  Remaining scored included Hilton over Eastridge 14-5, Greece Storm over Brockport 13-3, Schroeder over Waterloo 14-2 and R-H over HFL 16-4.

# 242  Goodermote Dominate in C-C Win
aulina Goodermote was an impressive defensive force for Churchville-Chili in their 14-8 win over Lake Shore.  Her final stats showed 12 saves and 8 goals against (60%); however, that doesn’t even begin to show how she actually played.  The final five shots she faced were all goals as Lake Shore attempted to pull back into the game.  With 10 minutes remaining in the game she was 12/15 (80%).  She also had 3 ground balls and an interception in the cage.  Of her 12 saves, four were off 8m free position shots.  The offense was certainly important for the victory, but Goodermote was the key.
