Rochester Chapter Offering Coaching Class

Roch ChapterThe Greater Rochester Chapter of US Lacrosse is, once again, offering Level I training at a discounted rate. The Greater Rochester Chapter of US Lacrosse will be offering the Level ONE Clinic on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Pittsford Mendon High School (472 Mendon Road, Pittsford). The clinic, which is part of the program leading to certification, will be available for both the men`s and the women`s game. The local chapter will subsidize half of the cost. Updates to 2017 Season

State Tournament Recap

Section Five had one team make the State Finals and all three teams make the Semi-Finals.  Pittsford moved the furthest in the tournament making it to the Class A Finals where they fell to CBA 11-6.  Victor fell in the Semi-Finals to Garden City 15-11 and HFL fell to Mt. End of Season Links for 2016

The 2016 season ended with Pittsford making it to the State Finals and HFL and Victor making the State Semi-Finals.  After a change from 2015, there were six All Americans and six Academic All Americans named for Section Five. 2017 Rule Changes

2017 State Classifications

The 2017 State Classifications have been announced.  In 2017, the stat will move from three class (A, B, C) to four classes (A, B, C, D).  The classifications are based on the state BEDS numbers.  Which is calculated based on the number of students in the district.  Additionally, there are formula used for schools that are a single gender or a combined school district.  Lastly one team (Pittsford) has chosen to move up to Class A from Class Bhe 2017 State Classifications have been announced.  In 2017, the stat will move from three class (A, B, C) to four classes (A, B, C, D).  The classifications are based on the state BEDS numbers.  Which is calculated based on the number of students in the district.  Additionally, there are formula used for schools that are a single gender or a combined school district.  Lastly one team (Pittsford) has chosen to move up to Class A from Class B.
