# 149  2016 Herb Fitch Senior All Star Game
he Rochester Chapter of USLacrosse has announced the 2016 Herb Fitch Lacrosse All Star Game player selections. This year's contest, featuring some of the best of the graduating seniors will be held on Friday, June 17th at Victor High School. The girls' game will start at 5:00 PM before the boys' play at 7:00 PM.

Tickets for the Senior All Star Games will be $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for students. Concessions will be available.

All players need to visit the Registration Page and indicate if they are planning to play or not. Other information is available on that page. Registration is complete.

Monroe County End of Season Awards have 50 First and 50 Second Team All County Players.  In addition there were 4 All Americans and 4 Academic All Americans.  As well as Defensive Players of the Year, a Midfielder of the Year and an Offensive Player of the Year.

# 121  Ruggieri Wins with Less Than 1 Minute
rika Ruggieri scored with 0:44 remaining in regulation to give Brockport the 8-7 win over Hilton.  These two teams faced earlier in the season with Hilton coming out on top 13-12 (HERE).  The Blue Devils came into the game looking for retribution and found it. This was the final game of the regular season for the Blue Devils and they finished the season 11-5.  Hilton still has one game left on the books against Fairport on Wednesday.

achel Ryan scored her sixth goal to lift Hilton 13-12 over Brockport with only 0:12 remaining on the clock.  Ryan leads her team in goals, assists and points with 60g-19a. Brockport was led in scoring by Leah Daly with 7g-1a.  Daly also leads her team in goals and points with 44g-9a (Senior attackman Jasmyn Jessmer leads in assists with 31).

nother weekend finished in Section Five.  Today saw Pittsford defeating CNS (Section III) 10-7.  The Northstars were previously undefeated.  Webster Schroeder held off a late advance to defeat Penn Yan 9-7.  R-H defeated out of section Lancaster 14-5 and South Jefferson defeated HFL 13-8.  In other games Mercy defeated Clarence 10-6 and Pal-Mac defeated Churchville-Chili 9-4. Four games were decided by a single goal tonight.  HFL defeated Thomas (6-5) in overtime, Greece Ath/Ody defeated Eastridge (9-8), Fairport defeated Churchville-Chili (8-7) and Mynderse defeated Midlakes (10-9).  In more one sided contests, Canandaigua over Schroeder 8-4, Pittsford over Irondequoit 9-6 and Hilton over Greece Oly/Arc 13-4.

With nine games being played, tonight was the biggest night of the season.  The closest contest was HFL over Penfield 11-10 in overtime.  Another close game was Canandaigua over R-H 8-5.  There were also a number of one sided contests with Hilton defeated Eastridge 22-0, Spencerport over Arc/Oly 22-4 and Brockport 13-2 over Ath/Ody.

# 18  2015 All-Greater Rochester
The 2015 All Greater Rochester list was published at the end of the season and Webster Thomas senior Emily Resnick was named the 2015 Player of the Year by the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle.  All told, sixteen players were noted on the list.  Leading the charge were players from Churchville Chili, Victor, Pittsford and Irondequoit with two players each.
