# 315  Biggest Game Night of the Week
here were seven games played today in Section Five.  Marcus Whitman defeated Gananda 14-10 in the highest scoring game of the night.  Eastridge over Wayne 5-4 was the closest game of the night with Thomas' 9-7 win over Hilton also a close contest.  In the lone game with an out-of-section opponent, West Genesee defeated HFL 11-5.

onore Couny end of season awards come in with 50 First and 48 Second Team All County Players.  In addition, there were 4 All Americans and 4 Academic All Americans.  As well as three divisional Players of the Year.

# 199  Smith Leads Braves with 7 Points
Peyton Smith finished with 3g-4a for Canandaigua in their 15-3 win over Hilton.  The Braves controlled the majority of the possession time during the contest.  They finished the game with 30 shots while holding the Cadets to only 7.  They also won the groundball count 31-12.

# 195  Cosgrove Lead Churchville-Chili
atie Cosgrove finished with 5g in Churchville Chili's 11-9 win over Hilton.  The Saints scored five unanswered goals in to end the first half and start the second half to take an 8-4 lead that the Cadets could not fight back against.  Hilton pulled the game within one goal twice, but could not tie the game.  Amanda Hilderbrandt and Jenna Ricotta each scored four goals for the Cadets.  The ninth goal was scored by Sydney Carpenter.  Hilderbrandt also led her team with 4 draw contorls and 3 ground balls.  Defenseman Josephine Ban recorded 2 caused turnovers.  In the cage, Shaina Doser recorded 12 saves.

s we approach the final weeks of the season, it seemed appropriate to write an article about statistics in Section Five.  When GLaxFive launched, we chose not to include a leader board, but as the season has progressed it is a decision that we re-visited.  For this season, we hope to publish a few articles that can fill that gap.

# 101  Ryan Wins Game with 0:12 Remaining
achel Ryan scored her sixth goal to lift Hilton 13-12 over Brockport with only 0:12 remaining on the clock.  Ryan leads her team in goals, assists and points with 60g-19a. Brockport was led in scoring by Leah Daly with 7g-1a.  Daly also leads her team in goals and points with 44g-9a (Senior attackman Jasmyn Jessmer leads in assists with 31).
