# 750 Aquinas-WOIS, Irondequoit, and CA Lead the Action THOMAS-5 at RUSH-HENRIETTA-11 - Rush-Henrietta defeated Thomas 11-5 in a Monroe County game, earning its first win of the season. Danielle Garrett led the scoring with three goals and three assists, while goalie Taylor Potwin made 11 saves. For the Titans, ninth-grader Carly Fitch and sophomore Brynn Becker scored their first varsity goals. Rush-Henrietta has now won six consecutive matchups against Thomas since 2018. [ BOX SCORE] PAL-MAC-7 at IRONDEQUOIT-13 - Irondequoit defeated Pal-Mac 13-7, pulling away in the second half behind four goals from Revlie Genier and three from Lucy Whipple. Ninth-grader Rylee Conlon scored her first varsity goal. Irondequoit goalies Emma Francis and Mia Conine combined for five saves. For Pal-Mac, Teagan Hudak and Baylee Vilord each scored twice, and Tessa Camelo finished with 10 saves. Irondequoit remains undefeated against Pal-Mac in seven games between the teams since 2015. [ BOX SCORE] AQUINAS-WOIS-14 at FRONTIER-13 - Aquinas-WOIS narrowly defeated Frontier 14-13 in a non-league game, led by Savannah Hinchcliffe’s eight goals. Brynn Henry added two goals and three assists, while Lily Bell scored her first varsity goal. The Little Irish built a 10-2 halftime advantage and held on for the win. [ BOX SCORE] LANCASTER-6 at SCHROEDER-3 - Lancaster defeated Schroeder 6-3 in a non-league match on April 5, maintaining a narrow lead throughout much of the game. Molly Meyer led Schroeder with two goals, supported by one goal from Brooke Guelli. Maura Ugine recorded seven saves. Schroeder resumes its schedule Tuesday with a contest against Pittsford. [ BOX SCORE] CANANDAIGUA-13 at ORCHARD PARK-9 - Canandaigua earned a 13-9 victory over Orchard Park in a non-league game, improving its record to 2-0. Leah Sheridan led the Gray Wolves` attack with five goals and three assists, while also securing 11 draw controls. Lola Schorr contributed three goals and three assists. # 706 2024 All League Awards [UPDATED] The annual All-League Awards have been posted and are available on the player pages as well as the awards page. The Finger Lakes League awarded first team awards to Reagan Diehl, Chelsea Korzeniewski, Anna Priebe, Jenna Santelli, Taryn Goodness, Sidney Clickner, Stella Del Papa, Lainie Forde, Colleen Ginsberg, Myah Herron, Madelyn Hillman, Teagan Hudak, Maci Mueller, Bailey Rossignol, Maddie Whitford, and Amelia Reese. The Attack Player of the Year was Chelseas Korzaneski from Mynderse-Romulus. The Defender Player of the Year was Taryn Goodness from Pal-Mac. The Midfield Player of the Year was Maci Muller from Waterloo who was also named Finger Lakes Player of the Year. The Head Coach of the Year was E.J. Burse (Pal-Mac). The USA Lacrosse All-Americans were Molly Guzik (Spencerport), Hanna Davis (Canandaigua), Devin Livingston (Victor), Ella Peers (Fairport) and Reagan Diehl (Pal-Mac. The All-Academics were Lucy Lederman (Brighton), Angelia Oechsle (Rush-Henrietta), Katie Mallaber (Fairport), and Allie Chimenti ((Wayne).
The D-1 Defensive Player of The Year was Devin Livingston (Victor). The D-1 Offensive Player of The Year was Ella Peers (Fairport) and the Coach of the Year was Dave York (Penfield). The Monroe County League awarded first team D-2 awards to Zoe Baase, Caroline Lyttle, Hanna Davis, Leah Sheridan, Nola Weaver, Campbell Hewlett, Paige Kidd, Shaye Angelo, Ali Baumgartner, Ella Brennan, Emma Francis, Alyssa Nichols, Brooke Endres, and Molly Meyer. The D-2 Defensive Player of The Year was Rose Heagney (Canandaigua). The D-2 Offensive Player of The Year was Molly Guzik (Spencerport) and the Coach of the Year was Kevin O`Connell (HFL) who was also selected as the Monroe County Coach of the Year. The Independent teams also selected awards in 2024. First teams awards went to Mia Lusardi, Krista Harnischfeger, Elinor Meyer, Marina Reddington, Emma Kravetz, Savannah Hinchcliffe, Brynn Henry, Kessa Sangasy, Ada Krupa, Jill Willis, Erica Savage, and Mara Misiurewicz.
