Fourty of the fifty scheduled games were played this week, with rain and inclement weather plaguing the Section. Three games went to overtime with Mercy defeating Aquinas 9-8 (HERE), Ath/Ody defeating Eastridge 9-8 (HERE) to secure their first win of the season and Geneva defeating Midlakes 12-11 (HERE). Brighton (10-0) continued to remain the only undefeated team. Pittsford (11-1 - Loss to Brighton) and Pal-Mac (10-1 - Loss to HFL) are the only two teams with a single loss. Arnold Leads Pal-Mac |

Pal-Mac scored the first 11 goals in their 14-3 win over Waterloo. Sophomore Emma Arnold had a standout game for the Red Raiders. She finished with 4g-2a, 4 draw controls, 5 ground balls and 1 caused turnover. She was also a key defensive player in the game. Between the pipes, Sophia Leva also had a strong game for Pal-Mac, she recorded 6 saves and had 3 interceptions when she left the pipesal-Mac scored the first 11 goals in their 14-3 win over Waterloo. There were a total of 50 games played this week. A single match-up went into overtime with Victor defeating Thomas 9-8 (HERE). Other high profile games included Brighton over Pittsford 8-6 (HERE), Webster Thomas over Webster Schroeder 12-6 (HERE) and Penn Yan over Aquinas 3-5 (HERE). With Aquinas (8-1) and Pittsford (8-1) both taking their first loss this week, we are down to only a single undefeated team: Brighton (8-0). Goodermote Dominate in C-C Win |

Paulina Goodermote was an impressive defensive force for Churchville-Chili in their 14-8 win over Lake Shore. Her final stats showed 12 saves and 8 goals against (60%); however, that doesn’t even begin to show how she actually played. The final five shots she faced were all goals as Lake Shore attempted to pull back into the game. With 10 minutes remaining in the game she was 12/15 (80%). She also had 3 ground balls and an interception in the cage. Of her 12 saves, four were off 8m free position shots. Webster Thomas defeated Webster Schroeder in the battle of the Webster High Schools 12-6. Emily Glagolev turned the tied with three straight goals in just over three minutes. Glagolev finished with 5g on the night. Tonight, was the first time back to Titan stadium for Schroeder Head Coach Brian Hanley after moving from Assistant Coach at Thomas to Head Coaching at Schroeder this season. During the team introductions, he was warmly greeted by his former teamebster Thomas defeated Webster Schroeder in the battle of the Webster High Schools 12-6.
