strong>DAY IN REVIEW: WEDNESDAY - Irondequoit edged Fairport 12-11 on Lucy Whipple's goal with a minute left, while Hilton held off Thomas 9-8 on Charley Barlette's late game-winner, and Pal-Mac rallied from a 7-5 third-quarter deficit to beat Churchville-Chili 9-8 helped by Teagan Hudak's five-goal, nine draw control effort. Victor pulled away with 10 second-quarter goals in a 22-7 win over Rush-Henrietta, where Riley Brown scored her 100th career goal, and Pittsford beat Brighton 15-1 for its third straight win in the series. Geneva knocked off Aquinas 17-7 for its first win over the Little Irish in the teams' last 10 meetings, and Brockport topped Wayne 11-8 behind Molly McJury's six goals while Anabelle Ruffell collected the 100th draw control of her varsity career.

pencerport defeated Geneva 20-2 in the season opener for both teams. After taking a 5-2 halftime lead, the Rangers broke the game open by scoring five goals in the first three minutes of the third quarter.

Brooke Endres (7g), Joey Cerretto (6g), and Jacey Cerretto (4g) combined for 17 of the Rangers’ 20 goals. Seventh-graders Ava Pittman (2g) and Paige Corredine (1g) accounted for the remainder of the scoring; each tallied her first varsity goal in the game. Casey Corredine and Calla Crowley contributed one assist apiece.
