# 1056  2025 All League Awards and More

[UPDATED] The annual All-League Awards have been posted and are available on the player pages as well as the awards page.

The Finger Lakes League awarded first team awards to Jenna Santelli, Brinn Castrechini, 
Lily Boesel, Baylee Vilord, Kinsley Bree, Bailey Rossignol, Meghan Forbes, Maddie Askin, Makenna Harris, Laurne Twist, Sam Branner, Maddie Whitford, Lily Rowe, Chelsea Korzeniewski, Zoey Overslaugh.

 The Finger Lakes Player of the Year was Maci Muller from Waterloo. The Co-Attack Players of the Year were Isabella Veltre from Wayne and Myah Herron from Mynderse-Romulus. The Defender Player of the Year was Taryn Goodness from Pal-Mac. The Midfield Player of the Year was Teagan Hudak from Pal-Mac. The Head Coach of the Year was, once again, E.J. Burse (Pal-Mac).

The USA Lacrosse All-Americans were Bailey Cooper (Penn Yan), Maci Mueller (Waterloo), Ella Peers (Fairport), Ireland Mistretta (Brighton) and  Peyton Rothfuss (Penfield). The All-Academics were Kate DeWald (Rush-Henrietta), Emma Francis (Irondequoit), Lauren Garringer (Pittsford), and Brin Gotham (Victor).

The Monroe County League first team D-1 awards to Camryn DuBose (Fairport), Ellie Miller (Fairport), Madison Van Gorder (Fairport), Lilly Mattucci (Hilton), Alyson Welz (Penfield), Avery Fordham (Penfield), Emma Alexander (Penfield), Jenna Capozzi (Penfield), Peyton Rothfuss (Penfield), Cecily Kaul (Pittsford), Ella Murphy (Pittsford), Lauren Garringer (Pittsford), Danielle Garrett (Rush-Henrietta), Kate DeWald (Rush-Henrietta), Taylee Bernarduci (Rush-Henrietta), Allie Pisano (Victor), Julia Bruno (Victor), Lila Kubrich (Victor), Maia Pronti (Victor).

The D-1 Defensive Player of The Year was Brin Gotham (Victor). The D-1 Offensive Player of The Year was, again, Ella Peers (Fairport) and the Coach of the Year was, again, Dave York (Penfield) who was also named USA Lacrosse Coach of the Year from Section V. 

The Monroe County League awarded first team D-2 awards to Alexandra Madison (Brighton), Ella Brunette (Brighton), Ireland Mistretta (Brighton), Leah Sheridan (Canandaigua), Maddie Passalacqua (Canandaigua), Ellie Bottiglier (Irondequoit), Emma Francis (Irondequoit), Lucy Whipple (Irondequoit), Brooke Endres (Spencerport), Raquel Circhirillo (Spencerport), Lola Wambach (Schroeder), Carly Fitch (Thomas).

The D-2 Defensive Player of The Year was Emma Francis (Irondequoit). The D-2 Offensive Player of The Year was Ireland Mistretta (Brighton) and the Coach of the Year was Mike Butler (Irondequoit).

The Monroe County League awarded first team D-3 awards to Molly McJury (Brockport), Campbell Hewlett (Churchville-Chili), Shavonne Callahan (Churchville-Chili), Evie Amesbury (Gates Chili), Harper Jacob (HFL), Shayne Angelo (HFL), and Tessa Peinkofer (HFL).

The D-3 Defensive Player of The Year was Tessa Peinkofer (HFL). The D-3 Offensive Player of The Year was Shaye Angelo (HFL) and the Coach of the Year was Kristen Butka (HFL). 

The Independent teams also selected awards in 2024. First team awards went to Ada Krupa (Eastridge/BK), Brynn Henry (Aquinas), Maeve Shanahan (Mercy), Emma Kravetz (Mercy), Kessa Sangasy (Aquinas), Lila Hansen (Penn Yan), Maihue Miranda-Wiltberger (Penn Yan), Makenna Mullins (Penn Yan), Mia Lusardi (Mercy), Mia Quagrello (Mercy), Neely Hawn (Eastridge/BK), Savanah Hinchcliffe (Aquinas). The Independent Player of the Year was Bailey Cooper (Penn Yan).

# 1039  Cougars and Mustangs Win and Charge Forward
In class C, it was No. 3 Honeoye Falls-Lima taking the title, defeating No. 1 Pal-Mac 9-6 in a hard-fought battle, thanks to Harper Jacob’s three-goal performance and a balanced offensive effort. The Cougars advance to take on Lake Shore (section VI) in the sub-regionals. In class D, No. 1 Penn Yan showcased its dominance in a commanding 17-5 victory over No. 2 Waterloo, led by Bailey Cooper, who had five goals and an assist, and Maihue Miranda-Wiltberger, who won 17 draw controls. Penn Yan is now set to face Eden (section VI) in the sub-regionals.

HONEOYE FALLS-LIMA-9 at PAL-MAC-6 - Harper Jacob (3g), Shaye Angelo (2g), Mackinley Buckley (2g/1a), and Jenna Lawrence (2g) led the scoring for No. 3 Honeoye Falls-Lima. Teagan Hudak had five goals for No. 1 Pal-Mac. Up next for Honeoye Falls-Lima is a sub-regional matchup against Lake Shore (section VI) on Thursday at Williamsville South HS. # 1027  Waterloo, R-H, Penfield, and Penn Yan To Finals
teams earning their spots in upcoming championship matchups. In class A, No. 3 Rush-Henrietta edged No. 2 Fairport in a tightly contested 8-6 battle. Waterloo pulled away in the second half of its class D semifinal matchup with Mynderse-Romulus, winning 13-7. Elsewhere, both Penfield, the number one seed in class A, and Penn Yan, the number one seed in class D, advanced easily. 

MYNDERSE-ROMULUS-7 at WATERLOO-13 - Maci Mueller led No. 2 Waterloo with four goals and an assist, and Peyton Lyons made six saves. Myah Herron had three goals for third-seeded Mynderse-Romulus. GREECE STORM-1 at PENFIELD-19 - Peyton Rothfuss and Whitney Reynolds each recorded four goals and two assists to lead No. 1 Penfield.
